“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Greater True Vine's Ushers' Ministry is a dedicated group of believers committed to keeping God's house in order and facilitating a wecloming and organized worship experience. With a focus on hospitality, they ensure that congregants feel at ease and assist in maintaining order during services. Under the leadership of Deacon Alan Tart and Deaconess Jennifer Tart, the Ushers' Ministry plays a vital role in fostering a sense of pride whetehr taking up the church offering and making sure it is put in the proper place, or helping with the Lord’s Supper or Communion, or minimizing distractions during the music and sermon. Ushers stand ready to assist anyone in the congregation who might need help, to aid latecomers in finding a seat, and to inform those in the sanctuary of any urgent matters.
